A front door for Maine I/DD provider training
Maine IDD is a Your Training Provider site for agencies that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It exists so a program director can ask about training without hunting through the full catalog first.
The pages here describe the kinds of training those programs ask for. They are not a statement of what Maine DHHS requires, and they are not legal advice. NADSP and other approval notes, when Your Training Provider publishes them, live on the parent site, not as a claim on this domain.
Agencies that are training the direct support professional role, rather than the I/DD program around that role, should use Maine DSP training for direct support professionals.
How is this different from Maine DSP?
Maine IDD is for the provider program. Maine DSP is for agencies focused on the direct support professional role. Use the site that matches the team you are training.
Does this replace Maine DHHS requirements?
No. Training described here is general information. It does not replace requirements from Maine DHHS, a waiver, or your own policies, and it does not claim a state approval.
What happens after I send the form?
Someone follows up about a walkthrough of the course catalog. The form does not enroll staff, open a learning account, or start billing.
Can you track who finished training?
Agencies often ask Your Training Provider about completion records during the walkthrough. This website does not turn tracking on. Ask about it when we look at the catalog together.
