Maine DSP training requirements by role
The role is the direct support professional in MaineCare Sections 21 and 29. Timing below comes from the Maine College of Direct Support required curriculum, effective October 1, 2022 and revised March 29, 2023.

DSP curriculum before working alone
Before a DSP works alone with a member: Introduction to Developmental Disabilities, DSP Professionalism, Individual Rights and Choice, Maltreatment, Grievance Process, and HCBS 101.
