New-hire and refresher topics for Maine I/DD programs
These topics are the ones Maine I/DD programs usually ask about first. They describe the conversation. They are not a published list of required hours, and they are not a statement that a course is approved by Maine DHHS.
During a walkthrough we open the Your Training Provider course catalog and match topics to the roles in your program. Completion records, if you want them, are part of that conversation. They are not included just because you sent the form.
Person-centered daily support
Training aimed at ordinary routines inside a program: choice, dignity, and how staff support a person across a day. This page does not quote a Maine regulation or claim a curriculum is approved.
Notes the program can use later
How teams document support, changes, and incidents so a program manager can read the record later. Completion tracking is something agencies ask Your Training Provider about during a walkthrough. It is not turned on by this form.
Refresher training for the program
A way to bring existing employees back through the topics your agency still expects each year, scoped to the I/DD program rather than to a statewide DSP hiring campaign.
